Calling all Italian food lovers; when bringing together three of the most talented Italian chefs and a five star hotel together promises to take your dining experience to the next level.

Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel in partnership with Turkish Airlines welcome internationally known Chef Graziamo Manzatto, Chef Patrick Bennatti and Chef Berto Tomasi from Italy to showcase the Italian flavors and create an exciting journey to Italy for guests at the Serengeti Restaurant from 13 to 18 November 2017.

Chef Graziamo Manzatto is a well known and respected chef across the world with many accolades under his belt Including President of the Italian Chef Federation. Chef Manzatto hopes to treat guests and visitors to a taste of the best chicken and fish Italian dishes. And what is a meal without dessert?. Chef Patrick Bennati is a pastry chef and teacher out to dazzle your taste buds with his creations of various desserts.

But it is not an Italian affair without a little art and that is where Chef Berto Tomasi comes in. Born and raised in Italy, Tomasi started out as a chef but later discovered his passion for art, particularly sculpting. Chef Tomasi  is well known throughout Italy for his ability to model cheeses, vegetables and pumpkins into pieces of art . With his simplicity and mastery, Chef Tomasi illustrates technical images and stories of personal life on your favorite fruit, vegetable or cheese and has made history becoming the first chef to have is sculpting work published on the book Suchè.

As the very first edition of Italian festival in Tanzania, the theme this year is centred on quality, sustainability, culture, food security, the right to food, education, identity, territory and biodiversity are the main themes being focused on at international level to promote culinary and food and wine traditions as distinctive traits of Italian identity and culture.

At Dar es Salaam, the three chefs put on a show of a lifetime time bringing to life little Italy and are dedicated to provide exclusive and exceptional memories for diners. The six-day Italian food festival will provide an authentic Italian gourmet for diners and visitors.
